Breckerfeld/Menden, September 27th 2021. Following a long and intense planning phase, IVOSTUD GmbH has announced the purchase of the welding stud and end-customer business of OBTEC, from OBO Bettermann Group.

OBTEC possesses significant expertise and has made a name for itself all over the world as a
manufacturer of high-quality fastening elements for both industrial and automotive end markets.

Through this acquisition, IVOSTUD, part of the Doncasters Group, expands its production capacities and strengthens its market position as one of the leading suppliers to the automotive industry in the stud welding technology sector. The current employees of the OBTEC business will remain in the company.
